Same address, many chains
An EVM address is just a public key hash, so the same 0x… string exists on every EVM chain. Nothing in the address says which network it was meant for - sending on the wrong one can strand funds. Use the wrong-chain guard before you send.
Try it for Ethereum
Paste an address in the guard or call the API:
curl "https://useanychain.com/api/v1/guard?address=0xd8dA6BF26964aF9D7eEd9e03E53415D37aA96045&chain=ethereum"
curl "https://useanychain.com/api/v1/chains/ethereum"
